The Tennessee Quantum Hackathon is coming to Chattanooga on November 13–15, 2026, bringing together students from every discipline to tackle real-world challenges using quantum technology.
Whether you're interested in software, engineering, cybersecurity, business, design, data, or quantum computing, you don't need prior quantum experience to participate. Through pre-event bootcamps, team matchmaking, and mentorship, participants will gain the tools and connections needed to build innovative solutions over an exciting 36-hour hackathon.
What to expect:
• 36 hours of innovation and collaboration
• Interdisciplinary teams solving real-world challenges
• Bootcamp sessions to prepare before the event
• Mentors, networking, and hands-on learning
• $4,500 in cash prizes awarded to the top three teams
Applicants: Apply as an individual, with part of a team, or with a full team—and connect with Chattanooga's growing quantum ecosystem while building something that could shape the future.
Dates: November 13th-15th
Activities: Space missions, coding, robotics, rocket launches, time in the UTC Aquatic and Recreation Center, excursions to the Chattanooga Zoo and Observatory
